Resting between two friendly nations at the heart of the Niagara River, Grand Island is a special place. It features large, protected state parks at each end, lovely neighborhoods throughout, and breathtaking vistas on every side.

Its two bridges act as a gateway to the world famous Niagara Falls, which lies beyond its furthest northern most point. And although Grand Island is nearly the size of Manhattan, it's not filled with skyscrapers. It's instead filled with trails, kayak launches, boat marinas, sports fields, and picnic grounds.

As the wind brushes through its white oaks and red maples you can almost hear Grand Island's history speaking to you. Its peaceful first peoples, free-thinking idealists, Victorian gentlemen, hearty pioneers, and daring swashbucklers whisper back through time. We Islanders listen, prepare, and look forward to what's next!
